“ Hideaway Cafe is a great spot if you're looking for a budget-friendly outing. The interior is a treat for fans of pop culture, with charming decor dedicated to Harry Potter, Marvel heroes, and anime that instantly sets a fun, cozy vibe. The starters were definitely the highlight of the meal—well-prepared and flavorful and the coffees were great too. However, the mains fell a bit short, lacking the punch and depth we were hoping for. That said, it's still a nice place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere without breaking the bank. ”
“ Pros: 1) good vibes 2) good food, i have tried chicken chow, momo, burger, fries, rolls.... All aove avarage. 3) good service 4) very reasonable cost... specially for college students. 5) 2 wheeler parking available by the road side. However car parking depends on the rush. Cons: I just hope they cut down the single use plastic packaging for online deliveries and package food. ”
“ Love the food , but was disappointed that most of the items on the menu that we choose wasn't there. The service was good and the orders took time but love the environment and and it's peacefulness. Minimalistic yet cool in it's own way. Would definitely visit again. ”
“ I really like this cafe. Great juicy burger. Best I’ve had in Meghalaya. We ordered the Hakuna matata burger. They use the good brioche buns. Top class. I love the soups here. Try the wonton soup. Excellent. Shawarma is not the best. It’s ok only. Good atmosphere nice music and a good pop culture theme. Pictured is the bbq chicken. ”
“ The Hideaway Cafe really hides well even though it is located bang next to some of the premiere colleges in the city. I entered the cafe without much expectations. The outside looked like a normal everyday fast food eatery or cafe. Once I entered inside I was amazed at how well the interiors were & infact how big the place was. I was expecting a one room dining with a kitchen but this had 3 rooms. The menu was also pretty exhaustive. I wanted to try their seekh kebab roll however they had ran out of it. It was close to 9pm so totally understandable. So I asked for a Shwawarma Roll instead without mayo. The Shwawarma was really nice. The Rumali roti was thin & soft & the roll was not the biggest either but matched it's price. One big mistake was that I should have asked a bit of mayo. No mayo also was a bad idea. Prices were ok & service was good. Anyway the Hideaway Cafe turned out to be a Hidden Jewel and I will look forward to trying more items from this place in future. ”
